Although great changes have been implemented over time, life in the River Harbour has still been able to prosper. Today it is still a place full of life, for many boater, a natural place for local citizens as well as turists.

A group with close connection to Køge together with users ( Fishers and other professionels ) of the area has started activities to rescue this culturpearle from ending as a grass plan.
